Lemme shed some light on waxing... 💡Your hair must be long enough for the wax to adhere to! Typically, if you can go 7-10days without shaving or tweezing you’ll be long enough. At least 1/4” long. 💡Hair grows in three stages. A lot of clients are super disappointed when they aren’t as silky smooth as hoped after their first wax. It’s takes a few waxing sessions to get them all caught up. 💡Because of length requirements and growth stages, winter is actually a fantastic time to start reaping the benefits of waxing!! Don’t wait until spring/summer when you’ll show more skin and may not have gotten as smooth as you can be! 💡I typically recommend clients come in every 3-4 weeks for their first 3 appointments, minimum, to get all the hair growth stages caught up to each other and start reaping the silky smooth benefits! 💡I recommend exfoliating weekly to avoid ingrown hairs. You hair will instantly bring to grow back thinner, finer; overtime it’ll grow back lighter and more sparse. 💡Given the nature of waxing we’re removing the hair from the follicle in which it grows out of. Because of this, I can’t change how it’s going to feel for you. It’s certainly nothing compared to getting a tattoo, I can attest to that! Everyone’s pain tolerance is different & some areas are more sensitive than others. But I trust you can tolerate it for the long-term benefits! 💡I’ve been waxing myself exclusively for 15years and can’t imagine dragging a razor over my skin every week, or more frequently! I wax my underarms every two weeks, most other areas monthly and quarterly I wax my entire face (I love my makeup setting on my skin, not all the peach fuzz) 💡So now that you know what I know, let’s get your skin in the silkiest of smoothest starting now so we don’t have a crazy spring harvest to manage! If you grow hair and want it removed, I’ll happily help wax it off for ya! Full body waxing, men and women!
